KazPetrol’s Compass signs major service station deal

Orazkhan Karsybekov, Chairman of KazPetrol Group, attended the signing ceremony alongside the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Beibut Atamkulov, Deputy Minister Berik Kamaliev and Ulan Alipov, Chairman of KazAutoZhol.

Speaking of the deal, Mr Karsybekov said “I am proud to see the company investing in Kazakhstan’s modernization and leading the way in terms of quality service provision for travellers across the country. This is a major part of the company’s vision to remain at the cutting edge of modern, reliable and high-quality road services”.

The deal will see the construction of 35 modern roadside service stations on motorways, which will include stores, a food court, gas station, and parking suitable for heavy vehicles and buses. The project is worth KZT 30 billion (USD 70 million) and will provide employment for 4200 people. The ministry will provide support during the construction of the facilities and any further maintenance.
