Almaty, 20/11/23 – Kanat Kopbayev, one of Kusto Group’s founding partners and the Chairman of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), has been named as one of the 50 most successful business leaders in Kazakhstan, according to Forbes.
As Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Kusto Group, Kanat leads the group’s strategic development with foreign partners, and manages the construction segment, which includes the Israeli paint and varnish plant Tambour and the construction company Coteccons Construction in Vietnam.
A prominent figure in Kazakhstan’s prominent minerals and mining industry, Kanat also applies his knowledge and experience to his role at the Young Presidents Organisation. The YPO is the world’s largest community of chief executives that brings people together to become better leaders and better people. Counting over 34,000 extraordinary global members, the organization is represented in 140 countries around the world.
The Kazakhstan chapter was first opened in 2010 by Nurlan Kapparov. Today, YPO Kazakhstan has over 30 Kazakh entrepreneurs.
